My brother and I grew up in an era where parental supervision was often nonexistent. That being the case we consistently ended up in situations that were poorly considered at best and generally an outright danger to our well being. This work from 2005 documents one of those situations.

Today in the Past – Elvis, Grandpa version
My Grandfather died on the same day as Elvis Presley a fact that was very confusing to the 9 year old version of me. Over time the events of that late summer have become a tangled knot of memory. Sounds like an excellent scenario for art making. It was.
